Meet Our Team
About Us
We are a team of pet care professionals you can trust.
We are proud to be the ONLY dog walking company in our area with employees instead of independent contractors. This allows us to put each member through rigorous training before starting out with us.This also means our team members are covered by Workers Compensation for the protection of our clients. We don’t just hire anyone to care for your fur children. We hold our team members accountable to provide your dogs with the best care possible.
Each team member is:
- pet first aid trained
- has their professional dog walking certification through Pet Care Team Training
Whether you need us for a while or for a lifetime, we’ll be there to take the best care of your pet on their walk. Your pet deserves kindness, love, and genuine care when you’re unable to be there. That’s where we come in. Every single team member strives to give the dogs we walk the best care possible.

Marissa
OWNER
Double Certified in Professional Dog Walking and Pet First Aid & CPR
Born and raised in Cloverdale, Marissa grew up around animals. She first convinced her apprehensive parents to let her get their family dog, Bailey, by writing a persuasive speech at her grade 4 Speech Fest Competition. After bringing home the gold medal, her parents finally said yes to a puppy.
She began her career as a Non-Profit Fundraiser. Although she enjoyed her work, she still felt like something was missing. She had the idea to focus her passion for animals and to create a company that provided a high level of care for her community’s furry family members. This was the start of Lower Mainland Dog Walker. She currently lives in Langley with her husband and the littlest Lower Mainland Dog Walker, her son Jericho.

Jenna

Double Certified in Professional Dog Walking and Pet First Aid & CPR
Hey there, I’m Jenna! I have been an animal lover since before I could remember, and there was definitely a period of time where I was certain I would become a veterinarian just because of how much I love animals. I currently live with a fluffy little bunny (Minnie) who is my whole world, and an affectionate, friendly cat (Bruce) who loves to cuddle.
My hobbies include being active (indoors and outdoors), baking, reading, and frequenting as many local coffee shops as humanly possible! I have had experience dog sitting/pet sitting for various friends and neighbours and have enjoyed each time. I believe the bond that humans have with animals is so special and unique, and I am eager to get to know your animals and spend some quality time with them!

Ever since I can remember I have had a love for animals of all kinds, dogs always being my favourite. I have grown up around dogs and cats my entire life and couldn’t imagine living in a house without furry friends. I have a 6 month old golden retriever named Oakley and it’s been so much fun training him and seeing just how smart he is! I absolutely love getting to know different dog’s personalities and what makes them unique. I’m very excited to meet your pup and give them all my love and attention!

Jenessa

Double Certified in Professional Dog Walking and Pet First Aid & CPR
Hi, My name is Jenessa! I am originally from Sherwood Park, Alberta but moved to Langley to complete my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Growing up on an acreage we always had many pets as well as wild visitors which developed my love of animals. Since moving out of province I have been missing my adorable lapdog dog, Kitty, she is a Leonberger and is quite the handful (sorry to my parents who have been left with that responsibility).
Some of my interests include playing basketball, reading, painting, and of course taking some nice long walks surrounded by the lush greenery that Alberta is missing. I can’t wait to have some more company on my walks!

Brittany

Double Certified in Professional Dog Walking and Pet First Aid & CPR
I am a passionate pet owner who has worked in the pet industry for over 15 years. I bring my knowledge and experience from working in the Pet Nutrition field as well as managing a boarding kennel and doggy daycare. I have worked with a wide range of dogs, from family fur babies to working dogs. I also have two dogs of my own, Emma (Yorkie mix) & Bentley (Rottweiler mix).

Kandie

I started walking dogs as a career as soon as I retired in 2022. It was one of the first things I wanted to do in retirement. I am excited to do this as I love dogs but don’t have any of my own. I love all animals! One other job I’ve been doing in retirement is volunteering at a farm sanctuary in Langley. I love learning and caring for all the farm animals, especially the pigs
I have had cats all my life from as long as I can remember. I currently have twin cats that I rescued from Aruba.

Katelin

I have such a passion for dogs and taking care of them. I have a dog of my own that I’ve grown up with, Hunter, and he’s a border collie Australian shepherd mix. I love dogs of all breeds and sizes. Each dog has such a unique personality and that’s what I like most about them. I’m so excited to take the best care of your fur babies and make sure they have lots of fun!

Lorelee

Lorelee has been an animal lover/magnet her whole life with every type of stray either being found by her or arriving on her doorstep. She currently has a rescue dog Snickers who was saved out of Mexico and two cats Willow and Welly. She is happiest when outside walking and loves to say hi to all the dogs along the way. She looks forward to the pleasure of being with your precious doggie for new adventures!

Jake

Double Certified in Professional Dog Walking and Pet First Aid & CPR
Jake has had an affinity for dogs his whole life. Growing up his family had a variety of dogs of many different sizes, breeds and personalities. While he doesn’t have a dog of his own right now (he likes to say it’s a 1-3 year type of goal), the presence of dogs makes Jake happy and relaxed, he just loves to hang out with them. He is also an actor in the BC film industry and loves movies so he can’t guarantee he won’t talk to your dog in quotes from his favourite films. Jake is very excited to meet all the pups and be all their buddies.

Nicole

Hi all I am Kirsty! I was born and spent the first half of my life in Australia. My childhood consisted of getting every type of pet I could convince my parents to let me have. My dog Brutus is a large Rottweiler cross and my other dog Sammi is a small miniature Dachshund. I have experience with small and large breed dogs and understand their unique needs when it comes to their daily walks. Michelle

Double Certified in Professional Dog Walking and Pet First Aid & CPR
My mom often describes the first time I saw a dog as a toddler and how I pretty much had heart-eyes. Since that moment, dogs have held a special place in my heart. I basically had the big book of dog breeds on permanent loan from the library. We had a retriever-mix named Lexie growing up and I still think of her any time I play fetch with a dog. While I don’t currently have my own dog, I live with my brother’s family and get to vicariously have a pet with their rescue Garth, who has been my current walk buddy. Getting to be outside AND around dogs is the best thing my mental health could ask for!
I have a background in Early Childhood Education and working with children with special needs. I also have a passion for learning about different cultures and am teaching myself Korean (even lived in Seoul for four months!). I love dance (even with two left feet), and I love stories in all their forms (books, movies, tv shows). And I am always the person who befriends the dog at a party.

Ally

She spends time camping, swimming, hiking and road tripping all around BC. She loves spending time outdoors rain or shine and cannot wait to have your pup as company!
Finding a job that combines two of Ally’s biggest passions- animals and the outdoors has been an absolute dream come true!
