About Us

We are a team of pet care professionals you can trust.

We are proud to be the ONLY dog walking company in our area with employees instead of independent contractors. This allows us to put each member through rigorous training before starting out with us.This also means our team members are covered by Workers Compensation for the protection of our clients. We don’t just hire anyone to care for your fur children. We hold our team members accountable to provide your dogs with the best care possible.

Each team member is:

  • pet first aid trained
  • has their professional dog walking certification through Pet Care Team Training

Whether you need us for a while or for a lifetime, we’ll be there to take the best care of your pet on their walk. Your pet deserves kindness, love, and genuine care when you’re unable to be there. That’s where we come in. Every single team member strives to give the dogs we walk the best care possible.

CERTIFICATION

Double Certified in Professional Dog Walking and Pet First Aid & CPR

Hey there, I’m Jenna! I have been an animal lover since before I could remember, and there was definitely a period of time where I was certain I would become a veterinarian just because of how much I love animals. I currently live with a fluffy little bunny (Minnie) who is my whole world, and an affectionate, friendly cat (Bruce) who loves to cuddle.

My hobbies include being active (indoors and outdoors), baking, reading, and frequenting as many local coffee shops as humanly possible! I have had experience dog sitting/pet sitting for various friends and neighbours and have enjoyed each time. I believe the bond that humans have with animals is so special and unique, and I am eager to get to know your animals and spend some quality time with them!

Hi, My name is Jenessa! I am originally from Sherwood Park, Alberta but moved to Langley to complete my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Growing up on an acreage we always had many pets as well as wild visitors which developed my love of animals. Since moving out of province I have been missing my adorable lapdog dog, Kitty, she is a Leonberger and is quite the handful (sorry to my parents who have been left with that responsibility).

Some of my interests include playing basketball, reading, painting, and of course taking some nice long walks surrounded by the lush greenery that Alberta is missing. I can’t wait to have some more company on my walks!

He is also an actor in the BC film industry and loves movies so he can’t guarantee he won’t talk to your dog in quotes from his favourite films. Stephanie has lived in Langley for 27 years and proudly calls the lower-mainland home. She has always had a love for animals and wanted to be a veterinarian as a kid. Although she changed career goals to become a pediatric Registered Nurse, she has always stayed around animals. She has grown up with cats in the house, and many dogs at family members’ houses. Her Nursing skills provide a great deal of empathy and patience in making relationships, especially with animals. Healthcare demands a high standard of care, and this is put into practice with both people and their furry friends.

Currently Stephanie has 2 cats of her own. She has been unable to get a dog because of shift work, but she won the lottery with her adventure kitty Sunnie. Sunnie goes for walks, hikes, canoes, paddleboarding, and road trips. Stephanie hopes to get Sunnie a doggy buddy in the future.

My mom often describes the first time I saw a dog as a toddler and how I pretty much had heart-eyes. Since that moment, dogs have held a special place in my heart. I basically had the big book of dog breeds on permanent loan from the library. We had a retriever-mix named Lexie growing up and I still think of her any time I play fetch with a dog. While I don’t currently have my own dog, I live with my brother’s family and get to vicariously have a pet with their rescue Garth, who has been my current walk buddy. Getting to be outside AND around dogs is the best thing my mental health could ask for!

I have a background in Early Childhood Education and working with children with special needs. I also have a passion for learning about different cultures and am teaching myself Korean (even lived in Seoul for four months!). I love dance (even with two left feet), and I love stories in all their forms (books, movies, tv shows). And I am always the person who befriends the dog at a party.

Hi I’m Maureen. I grew up in Murrayville and we always had dogs, cats, hamsters, goldfish, anything we could convince my Mom to let into the house. I had my beloved dog Bluebell for 13 years and now that she is gone I miss dog walks but I’m not ready for a new dog just yet. I like to travel, I’m a big fan of Formula 1 racing and I’ll go to Disneyland any chance I get. Of all the places that I’ve travelled to I don’t think anything beats this little, rainy, bottom left corner of Canada. I like to get out for walks in all kinds of weather and there’s nothing better than having a little tail wagging, fur ball beside me while I’m doing it.

All of our staff are double certified in Professional Dog Walking AND Pet First Aid and CPR through Pet Care Team Training and ProPetHero. They go through an extensive 5 step hiring process and are all police checked through Sterling Backcheck before joining our team.
